Burlington Art Centre – Home of the world’s largest collection of contemporary ceramics, visitors can view premier pieces in spectacular rotating exhibitions throughout the building and observe or participate in seven working guilds. The conservatory is a year-round garden oasis intermingled with inspiring works of art.  The gallery shop, Art Etc. is known as the place for special gift of hand-crafted jewellery, artwork and fine crafts. New! Burlington Performing Arts Centre – Opened Fall 2011, this 750 seat main theatre hosts theatrical and musical productions as well as exhibitions, corporate functions and civic events. Ideally located in Burlington’s beautiful downtown, one block from the lake and within walking distance of attractions, shopping and restaurants. Conservation Halton – Get back to nature at any of Conservation Halton’s six parks, conveniently located off either the 401 or QEW just west of Toronto. There are more than 10,000 acres of wide-ranging landscapes with spectacular vistas along the Niagara Escarpment.  The parks offer a number of educational programs, guided hikes, biking, birding  and year around outdoor adventures activities and special events.Get “nose-to-beak” with a resident bird of prey, explore a re-built 15th century Iroquoian Village or ride the chair lift during Fall into Nature (October). Country Heritage Park –This interactive heritage park, located on 80 acres just off the 401 and Guelph Line, depicts agriculture and rural life over the last 150 years. It features over 30 exhibit buildings, an outstanding collection of antique tractors, steam engines, farm equipment and over 20,000 rural life artifacts.  FREE PARKING!

Crossroads Broadcasting Centre – Canada’s state-of-the-art broadcasting facility is home to the popular 100 Huntley Street daily talk show seen across Canada as well as CTS Television which features such shows as The Michael Coren Show, Listen Up, and Nite Lite. A guided tour takes groups behind the scenes to explore three studios, two chapels and 24-hour prayer centre.  As you walk along the Hall of Fame and peek into the Green Room, you may even bump into a special, celebrity guest. Drury Lane Theatre – Everyone loves a musical! Burlington’s live musical theatre features local talent in three productions every year.  In 2011-2012 the playbill includes; The Nunsense Two (Oct-Nov 2011), 32nd Annual Drury Lane Music Hall (Feb 2012) and The Drowsy Chaperone (May 2012).  Performance schedules include Sunday matinees.  Minutes from the downtown core. Halton County Radial Railway & Streetcar Museum – A full-size operating electric railway and museum featuring historic electric railcars operating on two kilometres of scenic track. The HCRR is proud to be Ontario's first and largest electric railway museum dedicated to informing, educating and inspiring people about the electric railway in Canada.  The museum displays and operates a variety of historic streetcars, radial and work cars, and maintains a collection of photography memorabilia and archival materials. Annual special events include Ice Cream & Starlight (August), TTC TP-11 Inauguration snow plow ride (September), Autumn colour Weekends (September/October), Halloween Spooktackular (October) and Christmas on the Rails (December).  Open May-October. Halton Region Museum –This year-round destination is located inside Kelso Conservation Area, at the foot of the Niagara Escarpment.  The museum is home to seven historic buildings and showcases many of Halton Region’s 35,000 artifacts.  Innovative, interactive environmental programs, seasonal hikes, on site tours and curriculum relevant programs for all ages are offered in the perfect setting.  Group meals available on site.  FREE PARKING!

Museums of Burlington – Interpret the early settlement of Burlington through interactive exhibits, special programs and guided tours available through the museums of Burlington.  Joseph Brant Museum commemorates Joseph Brant’s original homestead and features artifacts and the Eileen Collard Collection of historic costume and textiles. Ireland House at Oakridge Farm is a four acre working farm illustrating three distinct time periods 1850s, 1890s and 1920s of Burlington’s earliest settlers. Cooking demonstration and workshops available. Royal Botanical Gardens – Explore Canada’s largest botanical garden featuring over 2,700 acres of gardens and nature sanctuaries.  Experience one of the world’s largest lilac collection, over 100,000 spring bulbs and a Mediterranean Garden under glass.  Plus enjoy the Gardens Shop and three on-site restaurants. Springridge Farm – Stop for lunch and stay awhile!
