During National Tourism Week Tourism Burlington offers an Industry Ambassador Training session for front line or new staff. This half-day session features guest speakers from various attractions and events in the city including a presentations from the Historical Society on the history of Burlington. The goal is to ensure that staff are knowledgeable about what Burlington has to offer, so they can encourage visitors to stay longer in the city and enjoy all the attractions, events, shopping, dining and other activities. Participants receive a certificate and pin upon completion of the session.
