2012/13 Marketing Opportunities

• Visitor Guide Advertising - 55,000 full colour guides are distributed across Ontario to over 100 visitor centres and locally to attractions, events and accommodations. Opportunities include advertisements and guide listings. New advertising packages are now available for 2012-13.  Deadline December 2012.
• Tear Map Advertising - 40,000 double-sided full colour tear maps are produced which feature city, downtown and area maps and are distributed to accommodations, attractions, events in the Burlington and surrounding area. Limited space available.  Deadline September 2012.
• Virtual Tour - Get a virtual tour of your Attraction/Venue posted on the tourism website!  The virtual tour is an interactive web page containing; movies, 360° panoramas and photographs, logos and links back to your website. It is posted on Tourism Burlington’s website, but can also be posted on yours!  Be one of the featured attractions/venues on the Virtual Tour by signing up for this new marketing opportunity.  Take a sample tour of Tourism Burlington Partners, who have already been featured by visiting.  For more information This email address is being protected from spambots. • Festivals and Events Ontario Guide - 250,000 copies distributed throughout Ontario. Tourism Burlington places a cooperative ad in this publication which features major events in city. 10 partners required.  Deadline November 2012 - This email address is being protected from spambots. • E-Newsletter Advertising - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.
• Posters - We have new seasonal posters of Burlington plus posters showing activities by theme - dining/shopping, leisure, meetings and sports.  These can be printed in 11"x17" or 2'x3' and plaque mounted for hanging in your places of business.  See details on order form.

Programs

• Tourism Ambassador Awards - Recognizing tourism businesses or individuals who have made a significant contribution to tourism in Burlington.
• Event Funding Program - New grant funding available for events that increase overnight stays in city.
