The Tourism Burlington Ambassador Award recognizes a local individual or individuals, who have made an outstanding contribution to the Burlington tourism industry over a prolonged period of time and primarily these contributions are made in a volunteer capacity. The candidates we propose have been recognized for their strong and dedicated volunteer role representing one of Burlington’s premiere tourist events to residents and visitors to the Burlington area.  Sponsors - Burlington Hotel Association

The Tourism Burlington Builder Award recognizes an individual or business who has shown exceptional vision in the development of tourism that will leave a strong legacy in Burlington. They have demonstrated outstanding leadership and been a tireless advocate in encouraging tourism product and service development in Burlington and primarily these contributions are made in a volunteer capacity.  Nominations are being accepted for these awards and will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce Gala in April. You may submit multiple nominations, and self-nominations are accepted. To submit a nomination, simply complete the Nomination Form and forward to Tourism Burlington. All nominations received by the nomination deadline will be reviewed and evaluated by tourism industry representatives.

Tourism Burlington Pickle Award This award has been created to recognize non-supervisory staff working in Tourism related businesses that consistently demonstrate exemplary customer service – over and above the excellent customer service that is expected in the job.  Review the criteria for nominating your staff and complete and return your nomination form(s) by fax to 905-634-7220 by May 20, 2011.  The winners of the Tourism Pickle Award will receive their recognition at the Tourism Ambassador Training in June 9, 2011. This is a great way to recognize your extraordinary performers to a wider audience!
