Visitor Centre Parking

There is free 20 minute parking available in the parking garage at 414 Locust St. where the visitor centre is located in downtown Burlington. Spaces are reserved on the first level of the garage for visitors and are clearly marked. Upon entering the garage, take your parking slip and once you have completed your business in the Visitor Centre you will be able to exit without a fee if your visit is less than 20 minutes.

RV and Bus Parking

Parking for recreational vehicles and buses is located on the north side of Elgin St. between Brant St. and Locust adjacent to City Hall and the Queens Head restaurant. Please contact us if you require additional parking.

Downtown Parking

There is ample parking availabile in 11 public and several private lots conveniently located throughout the downtown.  The public parking lots (marked with green P) and parking meters on the main streets require payments from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. There is free parking weekdays after 6 p.m. and all day Sunday and on statutory holidays. Special flat rate parking fees may apply for major festivals.  Refer to map below.

City Parking Regulations

The City of Burlington enforces a 3 hour parking limit on all city streets. If you have visitors coming to your residence who need to park on the street for more than 3 hours, contact parking services for an exemption to this limit at 905.335.7816 or 905.335.7844 after-hours.
