Fresh from the Farm!

Visitors will find North Burlington very picturesque with rolling rural countryside dotted with farmland, nurseries, golf courses and conservation areas.

At some of the local farms you can purchase or pick your own products, and in some cases participate in tours. Many of the horse farms are open to the public and offer activities like riding lessons, camps and shows. In addition to private farms, there are several farms which are part of public attractions such as the Halton Region Museum inside Kelso Conservation Area, Spruce Lane Farm at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Country Heritage Park, and Mountsberg and Crawford Lake Conservation areas.

In the heart of the city, visit the Farmers Market at the Burlington Mall. Enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables sold by local farmers in season from May until October, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In west Burlington stop at the Aldershot Farmers Market located at Plains Rd. and Cooke Boulevard. Open May til November on Thursdays and Sundays from 8 am - 2 pm.
