FreeIt’s Movies by the Lake! Presented by Creature Comforts Hvac Inc., our free, outdoor movie program is designed with all audiences in mind (please refer to schedule below for movie ratings). Set against the backdrop of beautiful Lake Ontario, settle in with your favourite people and enjoy a wide range of weekly films at dusk. From comedies, to 80s favourites, to iconic classics, there is something for everyone. All you need is your chairs & blankets!
THIS WEEK’S MOVIE: The Notebook
DESCRIPTION: In 1940s South Carolina, mill worker Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) and rich girl Allie (Rachel McAdams) are desperately in love. But her parents don’t approve. When Noah goes off to serve in World War II, it seems to mark the end of their love affair. In the interim, Allie becomes involved with another man (James Marsden). But when Noah returns to their small town years later, on the cusp of Allie’s marriage, it soon becomes clear that their romance is anything but over.
