It’s that time of year again – Patio Season in #BurlON! Who doesn’t love a beautiful patio on a warm summer day or night? Well, here in Burlington, we offer countless different patio views with excellent food & drinks. Highlighted below are only a few of Burlington’s favourite patios.
Spencer’s at the Waterfront
1340 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, ON L7S 1B1
Located directly at Burlington’s waterfront, Spencer’s patio offers a breathtaking view of Spencer Smith Park and Lake Ontario. This is definitely the restaurant to visit if you’re celebrating a special occasion, or even for a casual drink. Whether you’re planning a wedding or event, or just looking for a place to hang out for lunch, Spencer’s will not let you down. Its beautiful glass-walled dining room and heated patio overlook a tranquil reflection pond in Discovery Landing. The menu features a wide variety of seafood, steak and more. The Queen’s Head Pub
400 Brant Street, Burlington, L7R 2G2
Enjoy a pint or casual meal at this authentic British pub in beautiful downtown Burlington. It offers traditional fare, but also some non-traditional fare that is definitely worth trying. 20 different beers on tap so grab one of the 120 seats on the patio and enjoy. Live music on Fridays, Saturdays and on sunny Summer Sundays on the patio.
Industria Pizzeria & Bar
1860 Appleby Line, Burlington, ON L7L 0B7
Industria is a new restaurant located in north Burlington with a large, beautiful patio. With tables/chairs and comfy couches, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal after a busy day. The patio offers a bocce ball court for customers to enjoy; perfect for a night out! They offer a gluten-free menu as well as a variety of pasta dishes, delicious pizzas cooked in their pizza oven, an excellent sfizi/appetizer selection plus other classic entrée dishes.
Loondocks
5111 New St, Burlington, ON L7L 1V2
Loondocks offers a casual fine dining experience, with an excessive wine list and unique cocktail menu. Something interesting about Loondocks is it doesn’t have only one patio, but it features TWO patios with fireplaces and amazing views of the sunset. Sit back on a Muskoka chair on their rooftop patio and enjoy a craft beer from Muskoka Brewery. Loondocks can promise you great service with superb food quality at reasonable prices considering it is fine dining. They also offer a brunch menu.
Turtle Jacks
1900 Appleby Line, Burlington, ON L7L 0B7
Turtle Jack’s has two locations, one in Burlington Centreand one on Appleby Line, just south of Upper Middle Road. It offers a large menu selection with something for everyone. The side patio is a good size offering a variety of tables/chairs and comfy couches and beautiful flowers. Enjoy some “Turtle time” Monday-Friday 4-6 pm and every night of the week 9 pm-close with $5 beer, wine and mixed drinks. Check out the other drink specials throughout the week. There’s always something going on so it’s a great place to meet up with friends.
Martini House

Plan a visit to the lovely Martini House after work for one of their signature martinis, perfect for sipping on their cozy downtown patio. Tapas Tuesdays is a very popular night with half-price appetizers from 3 pm-close. Be sure to check out their other daily specials such as ½ price wine on Sundays and $12 pizza or pasta on Mondays. The fig prosciutto pizza is a must-try! Whether it’s date night, family night or girls night – The Martini House is your spot!
