Looking for a fast-paced, action-packed day in #BurlON? Conservation Halton has you covered! Try rock climbing at Rattlesnake Point, Kelso, and Mount Nemo. Or speed through various landscapes mountain biking at Mountsberg, Kelso, and Hilton Falls. To visit one of the Conservation Halton parks you must register in advance online.

Looking for more adventure? Why not spend a night under the stars camping. Bronte Creek Provincial Park is open for camping, with some restrictions. Contact them and make a reservation and you can spend your day biking the trails in the park and a night in the great outdoors. Toronto West KOA is also open for camping. Looking to spend the day with your partner? Spend the day in beautiful and quaint Downtown Burlington. Pick up a coffee/tea at one of the many cafes along Brant Street, and then enjoy a stroll along the lake. Walk over to our beautiful beach and rent paddle boards from Burlington Beach Rentals and enjoy some time on the water together. Or enjoy a book and some down-time with the Staycation Beach Day for 2.  Grab a late lunch at nearby Spencer’s at the Waterfront with great lake views.

A short walk across the street is the  Art Gallery of Burlington. There are two exhibits currently featured;  Foreign Affairs and Aesthetics of the Archives. Finish your day downtown at one of the many amazing restaurants or bars.  Grab a drink on a patio or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants catering to all culinary-types. You won’t be disappointed!

#BurlON is a great place if you are looking to  spend the day outdoors, with activities for everyone.

Plan a visit to the largest botanical gardens in Canada – right here in Burlington.The Royal Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to visit and explore the gardens in the fresh air.  Discover the diverse plant life among the various gardens, trails and parks. The summer season means there is an explosion of colour among the gardens, and the 27km of hiking trails gives you plenty to see throughout the day. Also, grab a bite to eat from the Rock Garden Cafe or enjoy a relaxing cup of tea at the Turner Pavilion Teahouse, both open for takeout, patio, and limited indoor seating.You can save $3 on your admission and 15% off at on-site restaurants with the #BurlON Fun Pass.

The Burlington waterfront is the perfect place to visit to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in #BurlON. Take advantage of Lake Ontario by spending the day beside it. Take a walk at Spencer Smith Park to the end of the Brant St Pier. Head the opposite way and take a walk, run, or bike ride down the Waterfront Trail. Stop at the Beach and feel the sand in your toes and the cool water on your feet.

Just north of Burlington, visit Crawford Lake Conservation Area. A reservation must be made in advance on-line. Explore the longhouse village and learn about local First Nations history. Or follow the trail to the boardwalk that goes around the beautiful meromictic lake.

Worked up an appetite? We recommend Industria Pizzeria, who are open for takeout, patio dining, and indoor seating. They have delicious pizza, pasta, and more that you can share, or order for yourself! After dinner, the kids will love the fresh gelato flavours they offer.
