Burlington New Millennium Orchestra: Prodigium 2

This is the second opportunity for young Canadian “Rising Stars,” ages 8 to 18, to perform with the BNMO, Burlington’s only professional orchestra.

This special event will feature the remarkable virtuoso talents of young prodigious musicians from Burlington, Oakville, Toronto and the greater Niagara region.

Under the direction of BNMO Conductor Charles Cozens, the showcase will include musical genres such as Classical, Jazz, Pop and others, featuring extraordinary performers on various instruments such as piano, violin, flute and more.

With recommendations from regional arts organizations, the selection committee will choose exciting young performers from across Ontario to perform with the Burlington New Millennium Orchestra.

SPECIAL GUEST
World-renowned clarinetist Kornel Wolak will also debut a concerto composed by BNMO conductor Charles Cozens

This concert is presented with the generous support of YourTV, Cogeco, Burlington Foundation, Pieczonka Family Foundation and Incite Foundation for the Arts.
