Film Screening: Peace by Chocolate

Attend a film screening of “Peace by Chocolate” at Joseph Brant Museum! The film is based on the true story of the Hadhads, a family from Syria who moved to Canada as refugees from the Syrian civil war, settling in Nova Scotia and establishing the Peace by Chocolate artisanal chocolate shop.

Tickets are $15/adult, $12/children (12 and under) and include admission to Joseph Brant Museum, complimentary popcorn, and light refreshments. Peace by Chocolate merchandise will be available in the Gift Shop for purchase.

Doors open at 6pm to view the exhibit “Refuge Canada” from the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. Film begins at 7pm, 96 minutes long. Dates: November 14, December 12, January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10
