Explore Burlington’s Public Art Collection

September 20 @ 8:00 AM - October 13 @ 5:00 PM

Public art is a force for placemaking – for expressing and evoking connections between people and places that are meaningful to the community and civic life. Public art can take on a variety of forms and media. It can have functional as well as aesthetic qualities and may be integrated into a site or be a standalone artwork. No matter what the form, public art is an original artwork placed in a publicly accessible location created with the intention of reflecting and engaging the community. Public art helps to tell the story of our community. Burlington’s public art collection is now available online and accessible from your computer, tablet and mobile device. Explore over 100 public artworks throughout the city virtually or in-person. View images, locations and artwork information on Burlington’s Public Art Map.
