Professional Basketball player

Brady Heslip is a professional basketball player who lived in Burlington for much of his life. Heslip attended Nelson High School where he was a three time all-star Halton honoree. Brady then attended Baylor University where he helped his team make it to the NCAA tournament on multiple occasions.  Heslip played on the Canadian national team that won Silver in the Pan-Am games and Bronze in the FIBA Americas championship.  He played for AV Cantu in Italy in 2015-16 and currently plays for Toronto Raptors 905 the Raptors D league affiliate. Heslip joined the Chicago Bulls for the 2017 NBA Summer League. He signed with Turkish club Trabzonspor for the 2017–18 BSL season and the German team Skyliners Frankfurt in  2018.
